Chaos Game: Terms of Use & Privacy
Using the game
You may play Chaos Game for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment, in your browser or from an official download. You may stream it and share screenshots and videos of your play.
You may not copy, re-host, sell or redistribute the game or any part of it; extract, decompile, reverse-engineer or reuse its code, art, music or sound; or remove these notices. The game's code, art, writing, music and sound are the property of Ogre_Acheck, except the third-party components listed below.

Chaos Game is a comedy. It includes cartoon violence, drinking and intoxication, crude humour, suggestive (not explicit) adult themes and satire. Characters who resemble public figures are parody; everything else is fiction, and any resemblance to real people or places is a coincidence.
Privacy
The game has no accounts, and never needs your name or email (the two boxes below that ask for an email are optional). Your saves and settings are stored only on your device (in this browser's storage, or in your user folder for the download) and are never uploaded unless you use "Email my save" (below). Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes your web saves, so use Settings, Save files to download a backup.
The Send feedback box (F8) sends what you type to us with the game version and your platform. If you leave "Attach a screenshot and game details" ticked, it also sends a screenshot of the game, where you were in it (town, level, character name) and the end of the game's error log. Each install gets a random id so we can read your reports together; it is not linked to who you are. The email box is optional and only used to reply to you. Don't put other personal details in your message. To have your reports deleted, contact us via the game's page.
"Email my save" (Settings, Save files) sends your save file to the address you type, through our email provider (Resend). We don't keep that address unless you tick "Also send me news". In that case we keep it only to email you about new releases and big updates, and every email has an unsubscribe link that removes you. To stop people misusing the box, we keep a scrambled (hashed) record of when a save was emailed, which can't be turned back into your address or IP.
chaosgame.org and our feedback and email service run on Cloudflare, and the game is also on itch.io. Like any web host, they see the requests your browser makes (such as your IP address) to deliver the game and keep it safe, under their own privacy policies. We don't use cookies, ads or trackers.
No warranty
The game is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Ogre_Acheck is not liable for any loss or damage arising from playing it.
